Education Advice Please

Currently I am in Automotive Engineering, the course I wish to do since I am young. Before that, I did not know such course exist. So my parents assumed I like Mechanical Engineering, all my fault for not telling them the truth that I wanted to study 'car'. So I was enrolled in Foundation of Engineering before proceeding to Mechanical Engineering.

Upon completing the foundation course, I felt it hard to proceed and I told my parents I can't cope with it. In fact, the main reason was, that was not the course I wanted to do. So, I changed to I.T course, done an I.T certificate and was in Bachelor of Multimedia course when I found this Automotive Engineering. Again, I told my parents that I wanted to change course as I've found the course I wanted all these while. I was enrolled in HND in Automotive Engineering. Now I am in Uni and doing BEng Automotive Engineering 2nd year.

The problem is, my ideal course doesn't really ideal to me. I felt that I can't cope with it, lack of foundation. Should I continue with this course or change course? I have planned to go back to I.T course. I quite like I.T course but I scared after a while I will be having 'this' feeling again, want to change course etc. I can't afford to lose time anymore. I admit that I have financial problems, therefore I have to make a right decision this time.

Think carefully about what you really want. Write it down if you have to and then carefully decide to do so. I'm going through a lot of hard decisions about life in general at the moment: what are your main aims etc... I find writing ideas down helps a lot. Hope it helps!

I think i will continue with my current course. I have changed a few courses, all because of this reason, half way through felt difficult and gave up. I don't want to do this in my future course, might as well get through this.
anyway thanks for the advice.
