St Albans

I went to St Albans with my friends again today. The main purpose was to find part time jobs. Once arrived we went to eat at a Japanese Restaurant. I ordered a Japanese curry rice and it was nice.

After that, we walked around, into clothing shops forgetting our main purpose, job hunting.

Got to find a job fast before my bank account 'depletes'.

Celebrating Christmas

I went to Feltham to visit my friend hoping that he will bring me out on Christmas' Eve but ended up sleeping and eating non-stop for 2 cold nights. He told me nothing special on Christmas' Eve and London will be 'quiet' as commuter services will be closed for a few days. So we went to London on 27th, really packed, people in long Q's to get low-priced items. Nothing special to me and I never really paid attention to those people as I do not have extra money to shop. Anyway, while waiting for bus, I went in Victoria Plaza and bought a cheap jacket.

Merry X'mas!!!

Maybe New Year will be going to London again. I heard that New Year's Eve will be much more EXCITING than Christmas' Eve.

King Kong

I just watched KING KONG yesterday. In fact , my friends and I wanted to watch a midnight show but then the latest was 21:00. The day before yesterday, we had already checked online for the tickets.

Not bad, this time my butt did not hurt but my legs were numb. Such a long film for me, King Kong did not appear for the first hour of the show. Did you guys/girls shocked by the film? I jumped up at one scene. The scene where Kong sitting next to the waterfall and the girl pretending death. Then the girl, try to escape through a 'hole' and Kong slams in front of her.

Weekend's London

I went to London yesterday. As usual, some roads a are blocked and some are partially blocked. I am wondering, does this happens to London every weekend or just for special occasions only as Christmas is coming.

This is a real busy city. I realized this long ago but yesterday I experienced it myself. I was standing in front a shop waiting for my friends. Groups of people walked past me non-stop. People tend to look at me in a strange way, it was like 'why this guy is standing here' kind of look.

Although I have been to London several times, I still cannot remember the directions well. Next time I need to recognize the places instead of scanning for girls.

The Chronicles of Narnia

Yesterday I went to watch Narnia. It was a 22:15 show but then it started at 22:35 and ended at 00:40. My buttock was so painful in between the time. I was changing my sitting position to distribute the pain evenly on my butt...lol.

This is not my first time to that cinema. The first time I went, was for Harry Porter. I am still wondering, do all the cinema here gives me a pain in my butt.

Ebay Shopping

Nothing to do for and browse around ebay. There are alot of items added to my watch list. How I wish I can own all of them.

There is one item I have missed, Linksys wrt54g wireless router. I was too busy until I had forgotten to bid. I like to bid at last minute. The item ended with a price around £40 or less, I am not sure cause I was too frusfrated and deleted this item from my watch list. No reference, but at least I do not need to feel angry when I log in to my ebay.

Matlab till 5am

I was in LRC trying to do complete my assignment. Matlab is required to complete this assignment. As I know nothing in Matlab, it was a disaster for me!
How I wish I could finish my assignments like the guy above.

Something from Ebay

I received my switch today. Where should I test it? Maybe I will bring over to my friend's house. It won't make me headache testing it using Windows based PC's instead of using one Macintosh and one windows. Will figure out how to connect my Mac into a windows network, I am planning to play Diablo 2 with them.

So, I expected my Diablo 2 CD's will arrive before this switch, I bidded the CD's first. All I can conclude is, this switch seller has a higher efficiency.

Summer Holiday

I was sitting on the chair doing nothing. Suddenly, I thought of summer holidays when all my friends are going back to hometown. WHERE AM I SUPPOSE TO STAY???

My room contract does not include summer holidays, so I must move out. There are many criterias I have to think, placement location, my belongings...etc.

I am applying for a placement next year. If I find a room near by Uni, I scared the placement that I might get will be in a different location. I really hope I can get the placement.

Then my belongings, where can I put my belongings? A place to sleep or shelter is not hard to find but a place that can fit my belongings and I can stay will be harder. The first is security issue. Although my belongings are not valuable but if they went missing, I have to spent again. A big NO NO to a poor student like me.

London again...

This Saturday, fellow students from my home country planning to go London. Still doubting to join them or not. Those are my friends whom I knew here.

But then, after 2 weeks, my friend/hsemate is going to London too. He is going to do something.

Another reason is, I am low on cash! Maybe this is the main reason, I feel this big city is not attractive...anyone agree?
