Samsung D500

After days of hesitating which phone to buy, I finally bought Samsung D500. Because not long ago, Samsung launched D600. It has some features that attracted me, 2MP camera and able to use memory cards. That day I went to have a look at the dummy set. It is not as solid as the D500 especially when sliding up and down. Examining nearer, the slide behind is made of plastic, no wonder it has a sound that turned me down when I slide it. I will be posting pictures soon here.

I-Book 12"

At last I bought the I-Book 12" on Wednesday, 26/10/2005. I do not have classes on Wednesday. Met up Tao Kei at Hatfield train station, and headed to Oxford Circus. I felt disappointed because the online price and walk-in price is not the same. Sent a mail to Apple, asking for the refund but no response from them. Stated behind the invoice, I can claim the refund if the price is changed within 14 days. Going London tomorrow, should I ask for a refund?

Uni's PC Fair

Should I take a look? Or should I stick to my strong will of owning an I-Book? If I manage to wake up tomorrow then I will have a look, maybe there will be cheap laptops.

DOTA

Today my friends went to the library to play dota. STRANGE, LAN games or Battlenet cannot be played at our room. I think it's the same proxy that we are using in our room and the library. Really no idea what's happening. They brought their laptops to the library. It gave me a feeling of cyber cafe when I see they sit side by side playing DOTA.

Ipod Nano or Ipods

I am still in the library. So do many other students. I have been observind other students for quite some time. Most of them have an mp3 player and majority of players are ipod family's. Is it a necessity or is it a trend? Actually I did plan to buy an Ipod Nano because there was a promotion, buying a Mac and an Ipod will entitle me to get a £100 rebate. But too bad the promotion ended and my bank account is not settled yet.

More Imac and Emac

After dinner, I went to the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) with my friends. As I have found out that the LRC has e-Mac's, I head to where the e-mac's are located. Before, I will just sit at any available PC to online. Around that area, there was a group of girl, playing with their i-books. OMG, I was so excited to see Mac users here. At least I knew Mac is supported here.

Natwest...

When I went over to my friend's house, I saw some mails to my friend from Natwest. I bet that must be his PIN code as he has activated his cash card last friday. Seeing this, I quickly walk out to post my activation letter. I just can't wait to buy my laptop. Without the PIN code, I can buy nothing.

Apple Imac G4

I have been to the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) many times but I did not know there are Imac's. Today, my class ended earlier, so I decided to explore the huge LRC. It was nothing special until I reached the 3rd floor where I seldom go, I am a lazy boy. I was so excited when I saw Mac's around. I was thinking to buy a Mac as I do not have a workstation currently. I have sleepless nights, thinking of my ability to handle a Mac, how does MacOS looks like. After the try, I got more interested to own a Mac. Before I was planning to buy an I-Book, when I saw Imac, I was attracted to it! I browsed to Apple's site and compare the prices between I-Book and Imac, the price difference is not much but the performance varies a lot. Still doubting which one to buy. Nevermind, I still have time to consider as my bank account is not ready to be used yet.

Re : Bank Account

At last I can deposit my bank draft which I feel very insecure in my room. The bank draft will take 3-4 days to be cleared, might be more than that cause it's a foreign bank draft. I haven't received my bank card yet, have to wait for several days again. My friend is very unlucky. We applied the bank account together but his has no response from the bank.

Bank account

At last, I received something from the bank today. I didn't notice as I was in a rush to 9am class. On the way, one of my friend told me that he had received a letter from the bank but the other did not receive anything. After class, I ran home to check for my letter and it was on the kitchen table. I was so happy!!!
Tomorrow I'm going to the bank to deposit my long kept bank drafts.

can't wait anymore

it's been more than a week since i applied for a bank account. this is making me crazy! although, when i went there for the application, it's quite funny cause i pay nothing to open a bank account. without a bank account, i can do nothing or buy anything!
